“Faith Village is an orphanage that was established by Ps. David and Paula Mahawon over 10 years ago in their effort of saving orphans and boy soldiers from Burma. Over 100 boys and girls call Faith Village home today. Faith Village has over 100 acres of land, over 25 buildings, farms and even a coffee shop in Thaton town called the “Coffee Mug”. Many of the boy soldiers have been trained to become mighty men of God who boldly preach the gospel to the Shan people in Burma, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and China. Faith Village has grown ever since, and is still growing today. We are privileged to be a part of this great ministry for over 10 years now. Many boys and girls have had their lives changed , restored and transformed by the power of the Lord Jesus Christ .We truly rejoice that the investment in the lives of these precious children have produced. Their latest project: Construction of the largest church building in Thaton, Thailand is ongoing and will be completed before the end of 2009.”
