Why We Give
The strength of our church can be found in the generous and committed lives of the people who have planted their lives in this local church.
We believe in the Biblical principle of tithing. The tithe simply means a "tenth". In Malachi 3:10 the Bible talks about bringing the first 10% (tithe) of your income into the storehouse (church). Tithes and Offerings received at World Harvest Church are given at free-will with no compulsion and they are used to fund the vision and activities of our church. Proverbs 21:26 says ‘the godly love to give’, this is seen through the countless volunteer hours offered by those serving in church services and through those who financially support the church and its initiatives. |
