Why We Give
The strength of our church can be found in the generous and committed lives of the people who have planted their lives in this local church. In the Bible, Proverbs 21:26 says ‘the godly love to give’, and this is seen through the countless volunteer hours given by those serving and financially supporting this local church and its initiatives.
We believe in the Biblical principle of tithing. The tithe means a tenth and the Bible talks about bringing the first tenth (tithe) of our income into the storehouse (church). We do this out of a heart of gratitude and obedience to God, placing Him first in our life and finances. Tithes and Offerings received at World Harvest Church are given at free-will with no compulsion and are used to fund the vision and initiatives of World Harvest Church locally and globally. |
