WELCOME HOME
As our church continued to grow, in 2019 we renovated our facility to welcome more people home and make room for community before and after services.

WHC DUBAI
Shortly after launching, WHC Dubai began the journey of acquiring its own facility. In 2019, we gave towards it and now the facility is fully functioning where all services and church recordings are held weekly.

WHC CONFERENCE
We held our first ever WHC Conference in house with over 350 people attending. It was life changing, especially as we were able to fly in and host our pastors from Philippines, India, Dubai and Thailand over the week.

2020

CHURCH ONLINE
Then the pandemic swept through the globe and life as we knew it was never the same. Through the generosity of the people in this house, we purchased recording and live-streaming equipment to enable all our services to go online. What felt like an overnight shift has now become part of how we bring church to people every week. 751 YouTube Subscribers, 1474 Facebook followers, 673 Instagram followers.

WHC CONFERENCE ONLINE
We hosted our first online conference with over 700 unique viewers from Malaysia and beyond.

2021

EQUIPMENT
This year, we are looking forward to upgrading audio & video equipment in our facility. Some of which we have been using for over 20 years since our old building burnt down in 2001 and it’s time to prepare for the days ahead. Making sure that as we say “Welcome Home”, it’ll truly be a home for those who are about to come in through our physical doors and those who will be part of our church online – continually gathering together in the building and beyond.

WHC MANILA
Over the years, our church in Manila has been gathering in event spaces such as Jollibee restaurant and condominium halls. Just before the pandemic hit, the church has outgrown the space we occupy weekly. Now as Manila is beginning to open up, we believe it’s time to place a stake in the ground for a permanent location the beautiful people in WHC Manila can finally call home. This is about to become a reality as WHC Manila begins to build and furnish their new home in the Fairview Terraces shopping mall.

WHC CONFERENCE
We gathered online for 2 days, sparking hope and faith for the year ahead. We had incredible guest speakers impart into our church and we are believing that we will reach more people this year so that the Gospel of Jesus will continue to be heard.

WHC WORSHIP
Over the years, we've seen God use our church in different areas. We recognise that He has placed an anointing for worship within our house and we're going to sow into producing our very first worship studio EP. These songs have been written by our worship team and we know there will be songs for you to worship God with, in any season of your life. It will be recorded by our team here in Malaysia and mixed and mastered by Luke Munns at The Lakehaus Studios, Australia. |
LIGHTING UPGRADES
Lighting plays a huge role in setting the atmosphere anywhere–concerts, recital halls, dance studios, houses. We have been using our console for the past 8 years and now we are investing into the infrastructure where will have access to industry standard lights from the top and bottom to be controlled by a new digital console. This also future proofs our church for adding/changing lights in the future. |
